Remedial Therapy
- Focuses on learners diagnosed with a variety of barriers to learning.
- Assess to determine learner’s current level of functioning and identify starting point of remedial therapy.
- Individual Support Programme (ISP) for each learner. Collaborate with other role-players in addressing the barriers to learning.
- Subjects of specialization: Afrikaans, English, Mathematics.·
- Weekly individual, interactive therapy ranging from Grades R – 9.
- School visits with learners’ class teachers and support teams.
- Parent consultations providing guidance and connections to other dynamic professionals in our network.
- Guidance in a variety of learning techniques to assist in preparation for upcoming assessments.
Workshops
Workshops such as Our Mommy Mornings creating a support system for parents on their child’s academic journey. Our Teacher Mornings provides guidance in teaching learners with diverse academic needs.
Sessions include:
- Academic Topics.
- Printed or concrete materials to take home.
- Coffee/tea and a light snack.
- Access to Our Learning Room’s references.
